Getting to the Core of Your Fitness Program

Strengthen Your Core to Improve... Everything!

Having a strong core, the muscles around your trunk and pelvis, is incredibly important because everything you do physically is centered on this pivotal muscle group. The core is your bodies natural weight belt, when training your "belt area" it significantly reduces the amount of stress on your spine.

Core Excercises Improve Everything

A Strong Core:

     •   Improves Form

     •   Prevents Injury

     •   Increases Balance

     •   Helps Stability

More than Just Your Six-Pack

It is important that you recognize that your core is not just your abdominal muscles. Core exercises train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work in unison. Weak core muscles leave you susceptible to poor posture, lower back pain and muscle injuries.

So keep in mind, having strong core muscles makes it easier to do most physical activities like playing football, training in the gym or even bending over to tie your shoe.
